Nahanni’s Light Steel Dump Boxes are all around hard-working Dump Bodies that will provide years of all-purpose trucking. The work-horse of our line-up, the Light Steel is a similar style body to the Western Light, but with a beefed up floor construction for those hard-to-handle loads. We’ve replaced the 10” Longsills with a base of 2 x 10″ Fir subfloor over 3” Cross-members on 16” centres and laid over it 8” Longsills under the same Hardox 450™ floor. These give you increased resistance when loading materials such as rock, which can be difficult or impossible to handle in a body of lighter construction. To compensate for different side depth over the Western Light, we add high sloping sides as standard. Like all Nahanni products, your Light Steel Dump Box will retain it’s serviceability long past that of our competitors. This extra time means more money in your pocket: the true test of cost and value.
